Paul D. Scuse B.Sc. M.Div. M.Th. D.Min. RMFT.
Paul is the founder of Emmaus Pastoral Counselling Services. He provides consulting and counselling for individuals, couples and families.
Paul has completed the Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counselling from Wilfrid Laurier University and has graduated from the Internship program in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Interfaith Pastoral Counselling Centre in Kitchener. He also received Mediation Skills Training from the Lombard Mennonite Peace Centre.
Paul is an Assistant Professor at Tyndale Seminary and is the co-ordinator of the Counselling program.
Paul is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist. He is a clinical member and approved supervisor with the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (O.A.M.F.T.) and is a Pastoral Counselling Specialist with the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education (C.A.P.P.E.). He is also a registered member of the Board of Examiners in Sexual Therapy and Counselling in Ontario (B.E.S.T.C.O.) and has had specialized training in sexual therapy.
Paul was ordained by the Anglican Church into parish ministry in 1979. He served parishes in Oshawa, Toronto, Stouffville and Richmond Hill. He is now part-time associate priest at St. Paul's on the Hill, Pickering.
Paul and his wife Betty have been married for over 30 years. They have three children: Erin, Jennifer and Jason.
